The Company's components have often to perform in finished products operating in the most hostile of environments, in this case Holders manufacture an instrument sledge for deep-sea seismic surveys. The performance specification requires millimetre accuracy and uses enhanced water resistant resins to protect and enclose the sensitive instrumentation.

For many of its Clients, Holders provide a sub-component assembly service so that, if necessary, the product can be delivered direct to the end user, but in the majority of cases the company operates as an extension of the customers own production line. This means coordinating sub suppliers, holding inventory and operating call-off procedures to meet Client expectations.

Characteristic of the Company's integrated approach is the production of enclosures for ticketing machines for the major train operating companies. This involves not only the manufacture and assembly of the various GRP modules, but also the fit-out of the metal framework, and the attachment of electrical components, security mechanisms, gas arms and protection devices.
